The Super Bowl. The NBA Finals. The Daytona 500. The Final Four. These are some of the biggest annual sporting events that take place in the United States, and some even say, the world. There is one other event that has grown to be part of that category: WWE’s Wrestlemania.

On the first or second weekend of April, thousands of WWE fans attend this event, as well as the millions watching at home, as WWE superstars and various celebrities put on one of the biggest events of the year.

This event has been held in many major venues across the United States, including Madison Square Garden in New York, Sun Life Stadium in Miami and Safeco Field in Seattle. This year’s Wrestlemania will be no different as it will take place at the new Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The main attraction of this show is the matches that have been scheduled. In previous years, there have been monumental matches, such as The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels and The Rock vs. John Cena.

This year is no different, as 10 matches have been scheduled for Wrestlemania 29.

Match Schedule:

John Cena vs. The Rock for the WWE Championship

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (No Holds Barred Match)

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship

Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show vs. The Shield

Wade Barrett vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

Mark Henry vs. Ryback

Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins

Wrestlemania 29 takes place this Sunday. Coverage starts on pay-per-view at 1pm Alaska time. For more information on how to watch, go to www.wwe.com.
